ANIME RAKUDAI KISHI NO CAVALRY REDDIT SERIES
It's a magical school series where students fight against each other in an elimination round style to prove that they're the best in the school. This is a slightly above average execution of a very standard premise. Sometimes the fight scenes take up entire episodes, and that's honestly when the show is at its best.īut you can't give it too many props for the story and characters. They do a good job showing how the various characters' powers play off each other, and it's nice how Ikki wins his fights by observing and outsmarting his opponents. Detailed, well animated and fun to watch. The most unqualified strength this has is the fight scenes, which are very good. It's probably for theīest that this anime focuses on just that relationship and dials the harem aspect back compared to usual. Although the former has decent interactions with Ikki at least. Admittedly it's hit and miss Stella and Shizuku are rather annoying. Ikki and Alice are pretty good characters, I'd say. The characters have very exaggerated personalities, but I do find some of them likable. It mostly emphasizes the fights and the goofy character dynamics, until the end when it takes a bit of an ill-advised visit to the drama zone. I think because it has a good understanding of what works about that setting. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry is probably my favorite take on the whole superpowered kids competing at school thing. Well, I enjoy almost the entire show (especially the battles) and actually hoping for more, too bad no indication or confirmation for 2nd season I don't remember anything memorable, except that dude song in the opening is really lame each character has unique style and performed well in battle. I'm no expert when it comes to art in anime, but I'll say the battles animation are really great. some enemies and rivals are pretty decent, too bad we can't see much of their action. but the most interesting one is the MC, he's cool and skilled, also he has some nice background story and development. I like most of them, the female pair (the princess and imouto) make good comedy duo. "the worst one" is pretty intriguing.Although the plot almost overshadowed by the ecchi scene here and there, but it gets better and more serious(in good way) towards the end. The main story itself is not half-bad, the tale of it's not that bad though, I rarely find good romance in this kind of genre, some might even find the conclusion satisfactory(I won't spoil anything here). I'll mention it's flaw first, it has some pacing issues, especially if we talk about relationship or romance between MC and the princess. As for me, it got me hooked at the first battle, that was great battle action. This show is not what is seems at the start, if you don't mind or at least ignore it's cliche, it actually has a lot of potentials.
